History

Mike Sinyard started Specialized in 1974 by importing Italian components. In 1981 the company released the Stumpjumper, one of the first mountain bikes built in series — the name is still in the range today.

Mountain range

  • Epic and Chisel — cross-country.
  • Stumpjumper — trail.
  • Enduro — long-travel enduro.
  • Demo — downhill.
  • Turbo Levo and Kenevo — electric mountain bikes.

S-Works is the name of its top-of-the-range builds.
