Stories from the trail

Write and read richer rider stories, share trail conditions, and record every ride with more confidence.

Version 2.3.2 · 6 September 2026

BIKEYARD 2.3.2 gives rider stories room to breathe. Stories are long-form posts for trip reports, first descents, route notes and everything worth keeping beyond a chat message. Write with headings, quotes, lists, links, photos and YouTube videos, arrange blocks as you like, preview the result and choose a cover before publishing.

Read it your way

Published stories open in a dedicated reading view with clear typography, captions, wide images and an estimated reading time. Share a story by link and come back to the feed when you are ready for the next one.

Share the trail picture

The Trails Condition Index can now be shared as a visual report. It includes the score, its condition level and the evidence behind it, ready to send through the system share sheet.

A steadier ride

Trail grades and colors are now more consistent across the map and trail screens. On Android, stopping a ride really stops recording, and saving or resuming a ride no longer risks bringing stale track data into a new session.
