The trail map is no longer something you can only read. In BIKEYARD 2.3, riders can improve it together — proposing what has changed on the ground, reviewing each other's work and letting a local vote decide what reaches the map. The same tools now let you plan the ride ahead, then follow it outside.
A trail map shaped by riders
Create a missing trail or propose a correction to an existing one: its name, description, grade, direction, supported bike types or the line itself. If a trail is no longer there, propose that too. Nothing changes immediately. The proposal goes to riders active in that region, and the map follows only after the community vote reaches its decision.
Open proposals can be reviewed on the map, with the required quorum and votes for and against visible before you choose. Your own proposals and the ones you voted on remain easy to find, and BIKEYARD tells you when a decision is made. Trail pages can now also preserve their history and credit the riders who helped create them.
Draw it where it belongs
The new mobile line editor gives precise control without needing a desktop. Move existing points, add new ones or draw freehand; remove mistakes, undo and redo, reverse the direction, or snap the line into place. Switch between map, satellite and terrain views when the ground is easier to understand from a different angle. If the line already exists in a GPX file, import it instead.
Plan the ride ahead
Routes have their own private library. Draw one from scratch or import a GPX, give it a name and bike type, edit it later, and share it by link when you want someone else to ride it. Start following it on the navigation map with its elevation profile and optional alerts when you leave the line or find it again.
A recorded ride can become a saved route too. Or choose any ride and start following its line immediately, without first adding another item to your library.
Reputation that opens real tools
Community permissions are earned rather than simply switched on. Your new reputation screen shows the score and level you have reached, your vote weight, what you can do now and what the next level unlocks.
