Know the trails before you ride them

A live condition index for the area on your map, alerts for the trails you care about, results while you are still riding, ride posters and videos, and a privacy control for where a ride starts and ends.

Version 2.1.0 · 16 August 2026

The question every rider asks before leaving the house is the one no map could answer: is it rideable today? Version 2.1 answers it with the only source that knows — the riders who were out there in the last twenty-four hours. Their reports become a score for the area you are looking at, an alert on the trails you care about, and a line on every trail screen.

The rest of the release is about the ride itself: results while you are still riding, a poster or a video to share afterwards, and control over how much of your route strangers get to see.

The Trails Condition Index

TCI: one score for the area on your map
TCI: one score for the area on your map

TCI is a single number from 0 to 100 for the map area in front of you, built only from what riders reported in the last twenty-four hours.

  • The score comes with its evidence: how many trails qualified, how many different riders reported, and the window those reports came from.
  • A trail counts only once several riders have reported it, and each qualified trail is weighted equally, so one loud voice cannot move the area.
  • Below the quorum the index says "not enough data yet" rather than inventing a number.
  • A chip on the map carries the current score and opens the full screen.

Alerts for the trails you care about

Condition alerts, per trail

  • Switch condition alerts on for a trail and get a push the moment another rider reports it changed. Reports are anonymous.
  • Turn on the daily digest to get the area's TCI at a local time you choose.
  • Every trail you subscribed to is collected on one screen.

Reporting is one tap on the trail screen — unusable, bad, good, excellent — and saving a ride can rate every trail it covered in one answer.

Results while you are still riding

Stop at the top, open live results, and see the trails and segments you have already completed: each one against your personal best and against the standing record, in seconds ahead or behind. Nothing is saved, and a result only enters the leaderboard once you save the ride publicly.

Share the ride

  • Render the ride as a poster or on a transparent background, and share the image straight to any app.
  • Or generate a video of the ride being drawn, for the platforms that would rather have motion.

Your route, your business

Hide where a ride starts and ends
Hide where a ride starts and ends

A ride recorded from your front door draws your front door. Now you can hide the first and last stretch of the drawn route, each adjustable on its own. Only the picture is shortened — your original track, your distance and your GPX export stay exactly as recorded.

In conversation

  • Mentions: type @, pick a rider, and they get a notification. The mention is a link to their profile wherever it is published.
  • Links in posts, comments and messages are highlighted and unfold into a preview card.
  • Long-press a message to copy, edit, delete or report it. Editing and deleting work for yourself or for both people, and edited messages say so.
  • Your own messages now show whether they were delivered and read, and a whole conversation can be deleted.

And a few things you should not have to notice

  • GPS samples that could not be real are dropped before they reach your distance, speed and elevation.
  • A ride that could not be uploaded stays safe on the device and asks to be retried instead of disappearing.
  • Trail geometry is rendered on the server, so the map draws faster and colours difficulty consistently.
  • Timestamps read as "3 hours ago" everywhere, in all 36 languages, and tapping the tab you are already on returns you to the top.
